muscle man

I love all of Finn’s expressions.  He was cracking us up this night with his serious furrowed eyebrows and flared nostrils. 

One might think this is his pooping face, but really he’s just showing us his serious side. 

He looked like he was showing us his muscles.

I am still just loving snuggling this guy.  I love to smell him, give him tight cheek hugs, kiss his soft little cheeks, I love his sleepy, sweet, pouty look when he finishes nursing, and I love the feel of him snuggled up on my chest with his head on my shoulder.  LOVE IT!  Thankfully for me I get A LOT of snuggle time with this little guy.  I’m changing my approach and trying to see the wonderful side of having to hold him all day while he sleeps (he has a mommy sensor and wakes up every time I put him down.  Every time).  I’m going to make today a good day and do my best to love every second of holding this sweet baby.

First day of dance class

Both girls have been dreaming of this day for a long time.  Piper wears her dancing dress the majority of every day and requests music at least once a day.  She’s our music girl.  They both love watching  “So You Think You Can Dance” dances over and over and over which is good because so do we!  We keep all of our favorite episodes recorded for as long as we can so we can go back to them and relive their greatness. 

Sadie has asked every day for a month if she has dance class today?  I can’t wait to watch this little girl dance her heart out. 

 

Piper spent a lot of the class standing just like this.  It took her a while to realize she was supposed to follow the teacher.  Eventually she started wiggling her bum a little.  She sure looks cute her in tap shoes!

Rain, rain come again…

The girls love it when it rains especially when I let them go and play in the puddles.  Last week we had one of those lucky days!  It started pouring and the girls ran to get their rain coats and boots, but it immediately went from a light rain to a down pour to hail.  I decided it probably wouldn’t be the best of parenting to let my girls go play in a hail storm so we waited……and waited till it let up.  It ended up being a perfect day to play in the rain.  Sunny and warm with a light rain and big puddles!  Perfect.
