Crazy Legs race

Okay so the run I've been so looking forward to is tomorrow, yeah! I haven't been running quite as much as I'd hoped to because its been so rainy this week. Not a whole lot of motivation to run in the cold rain.....Tomorrow is supposed to clear up a bit and be a pretty nice day. I'm just hoping it doesn't take me all day to finish the run. I've only run 5 miles once so far in the last three weeks, think I'm ready??? I guess we'll find that out tomorrow now won't we! Ryan and I will have to rock out in the morning on our way there to get me syked for the run. Whether it takes me forever or not, I'm still so excited! I love the buzz of a road race. There's so much excitement in the air. This should make for a fun weekend.

Birthday Wishes

I had a fun birthday on Monday, Ryan got me just what I was hoping for! He got me a Strollometer. It's a little wireless device that goes on your stroller and tracks your distance and time, it even tells you the temperature. Yeah! I can't wait to use it. I'm just waiting for a sunny day so we can go for a run. Today is definately not that sunny day. We're having a big snow storm today! Crazy Milwaukee. We're supposed to get anywhere from 4-7 inches of snow. Someone needs to remind Milwaukee its spring time! The flowers are supposed to be blooming, the grass getting greener, nice warm afternoons at the park.....no such luck.
Speaking of running, I just signed up to do a road race down in Madison. Ryan and I were both going to run it with Sadie, but they don't allow strollers so now Ryan's going to hang out with Sadie while I run it. He thought that was a great out for him not to have to run it, but I'm not going to let him off that easy....I'm going to have to trick him into running another one with me this summer. Its an 8k race (5 miles) and its been quite some time since I've actually ran 5 miles. Sad, but true. I've been running quite a bit with sadie the past few weeks, but usually only about 3 miles. Last night we went to Ruby Tuesday for my birthday dinner and it was DELICIOUS. That's my new favorite restaurant. Sadie surprised us and was very good during dinner. She sat in a high chair like a big girl and tried to grab everything in site. It was a fun night.

Thanks for all of the responses on my nursing covers and the help advertising! It will all help so much. The ball's rollin and I'm sewin away. I made some yesterday out of some silk fabrics that I just love! They turned out so cute. They're my new favorites. I'm going to post them on Etsy today so check them out. They took a lot longer to make and the fabric was a little pricier so I'm going to sell them for a little more.

Easter's coming! I love holiday's and am looking forward to our annual easter party at the Callister's house this sunday. Its going to be pretty cold for our egg toss!! Hope we all survive the biting wind. Yesterday we got a fun surprise in the mail, Ryan's parents sent Sadie an Easter basket filled with all kinds of fun things; stuffed animals, chocolate, candies.... Delicious! Sadie'll love the stuffed animals and Ryan and I sure aren't complaining about all that candy. They are so thoughtful, we think we are pretty lucky to have such great parents. It's a daunting task to try and live up to that. Hopefully we can be just as good of parents to our little darlings.
