Piper's Birthday

This past year has flown by so quick it is really hard to believe Piper is over 1 year old! These pictures are 2 months past due, but we did squeeze a little celebration in before Christmas for our special little one.

Please don't pay any attention to the blob of a cake on the table. I really have absolutely no gift with cakes and I was so done with this one that I just got the frosting on however it would stay.

Piper is a total Daddy's girl. If Ryan is in the room no one else, but Piper, is allowed to sit on his lap or be held. She loves her sister but doesn't like to come in second. She's a fiesty one that's for sure.
Piper was our little vampire girl with no front teeth but both side teeth for several months, but now her two front teeth have filled that gap so she's lost her goofy teethless smile. She loves to run around and play tag with her Dad and Sadie and my favorite thing, she has the cutest feet stomp when she's excited or wants something. I can't imagine life without this spunky little girl!

revisiting the past

Here's a little glimpse at our Christmas. We spent it this year in Dallas with the whole Donohue family. We had such a blast hanging out, playing darts, ping pong, games, and most of all just enjoying having everyone together. Sadie LOVED playing with her cousins whom she doesn't see nearly often enough. Piper even jumped into the mayhem every once in a while to join in the fun.

Piper and Schaeffer (Ambrie and Clint's little guy who is just barely older than Piper). Our two little blondies.

Sadie went to her very first movie in the theatre with Papa Steve and the cousins. She loved snuggling with Papa so much that she took a little snooze during the movie.

We also celebrated Ryan's birthday on New Years! We're so glad we get to celebrate our favorite guy around our favorite holiday.
I made a little scavenger hunt for Ryan to spice up his birthday. The kids enjoyed it just as much as Ryan.
I made Ryan a photo book of our camping family reunion last summer.

And one of our favorite things....was the dance party at the end of each night.

showin off my sweet moves
we went exploring some trails near Steve and Julie's house

And that was our Christmas! Getting together with family is my favorite thing. I look forward to it all year.
