Saturdays in the sun
The last two Saturdays have been pretty gorgeous and we have taken advantage of every minute of that nice weather. Oh I am so ready for warm sunny days to stay! Last Saturday was yard day. We power raked our yard, trimmed our bushes and basked in the sun. It was lovely. Sadie was amazingly helpful she was a great sweeper and cleaner upper of all of our huge dead grass piles. I can honestly say we finished quite a bit faster because of her helpfulness! She took a small step to conquering one of her biggest fears. Bugs. She’s pretty much terrified of all bugs or creepy crawlers, but we got her to hold a lady bug after much coaxing. Now her favorite thing to say is Mom I love to hold lady bugs, they don’t have any teeth! They can’t bite me! She searched high and low for lady bugs and was rewarded with a few good finds. Piper still refuses to touch them.
Yesterday was another day in the sun. This time it was car day. Ryan changed replaced our snow tires with regular tires (crossing our fingers we’re done with big snow) and then we washed, waxed and vacuumed. Feels good to have a nice productive Saturday. I love these days and so do the girls.
Piper just looked too cute sitting on the pot. We couldn’t resist snapping her picture. She doesn’t ever go, she just likes to sit ….. and sit….. and SIT.
