Sadie's Birthday
I know, I know it's quite a surprise, but WE'RE BACK!! From our long break from blogging that is, and no I really have no good excuses for not blogging. Now it's hugely overwhelming because there are so many things I could post, but what to do first??
Sadie's Birthday!
I was so excited for her birthday this year and did some fun preparations for it. I'm no master at cakes, but this year I begged help from Jodee who has quite a talent in that department. Nothing too fancy, but it met the requirements...a princess cake.
I made a birthday banner
and of course surprised her with a cute new birthday dress (we love dresses at our house!). I couldn't leave Piper out of the fun so she got one too.
We had a party in the park with some of Sadie's favorite people
and then a party with the fam
she just loved all of her gifts, but her very favorite of all....
was her new bike! She rides so fast now and daily asks me if it is time to take her training wheels off.
Piper wasn't content with the little bike, as always, she wants to be just like her big sister...big bike and all.
Isn't it wonderful to be 4?

Miriam, you are so talented in the sewing department. I love the girls dresses. Too cute.
So glad you're back! Not that I don't get to hear what's going on with you anyway, but blogs are just so much fun and I get to see some of the smaller details. :) Like all your adorable birthday decorating! So much fun. Glad that cute little Sadie had a good birthday!
Miriam those dresses are so adorable! I love them!!! I can't believe how big Sadie and Piper are getting and they are such cuties.
Glad you are back! Apparently 4 is the "bike birthday" because that is what we did too.
Sadie is just too cute for words. Piper too! Must get it from their cute mom!
Hooray MIriam! You blogged!!! Sadie's cake was super cute. My favorite photo of the entire post is Piper throwing the fit on her bike....too cute!
Yay! We miss you guys already. We loved seeing you at the Ranch last weekend and Angus misses your girls LOTS.

Your girls are so cute, you have mad sewing skillz and your cake is darling.....but Sadie's sunglasses are the best. So hip and cool to be 4.
Nope she didn't fall off...just cried and cried. We miss all of you guys including Angus so much! I am SO glad everyone was able to make it last weekend, it made for one great weekend. I'm seriously so excited for Thanksgiving now!
