She’s 3!

Piper is my crazy girl.  She is silly as all get out and will talk your ear off.  Don’t be fooled if she gives you the silent Piper, it’s just a front.  I love listening to her pretend with her toys she has the cutest conversations with everything and can entertain herself for a long time.  Sadie was never like this.  Sadie at this age always needed me or someone else there playing with her.  She wasn’t a fan of solitary play and still isn’t.  It’s nice to have an independent player. 

One of her favorite things these days is to say “Mom” and then when I answer she say “mmm ne’er mind.”  She thinks she’s hilarious.  She loves to try and make us laugh in any way she can.  She also loves to give Sadie big hugs, mostly when she knows Sadie doesn’t want one.  She has a load of contrariness about her, but she also knows how to turn on the charm.  These days out of the blue she’ll say to me, “Mom, I so sorry I cry.  I not cry nymore.”  and then she’ll follow it up with an “I love you Mom” for good measure.  Anytime she hears music she starts moving her little hips….then her head starts a shakin’.  She can’t help herself.  She does this in the store, car and at home.  She loves to dance and is always turning up the music so she can get her dance on.  I love chatting with my little Pipes I love the way her brain thinks and the things she says.  She makes me laugh daily with the things she says (and how she says them).
