rollin’ in the minivan

It has been a week now since we bought this little wonder and I am loving it!  It took a little to process it all because it was all kind of spur of the moment and we don’t generally make these big decisions this quickly, however, I think this will definitely be worth it.  I’ve always dreamed of a minivan, really it’s hard to beat the storage and convenience of one.  I wasn’t planning on getting one anytime in the near future and was totally content with my little protégé.  She’s been good to us, but when this sweet deal came up we just couldn’t pass it up and decided to speed up those plans of possibly owning a mini van to buying one right now!  We got a 2003 Honda odyssey, probably the most basic it comes in, but that’s exactly what we wanted.  Something reliable and cheap.  It was perfect. 

The girls absolutely LOVE playing in the van and would spend all day out there if it were up to them.  It must be time for a road trip to break this baby in!

Piper’s hair looks crazy white in this picture.  I love my little whitey.  She is cracking me up, and also driving me crazy in this stage of her.  She insists on picking out her clothes everyday and it is always a fancy dress, but lately it’s been a dress AND a skirt.  This day it actually worked…other days it isn’t quite a cute.   

This is old news for most, but for those far away friends, we’re having a baby!!!  I’m sure you were speculating with our spontaneous minivan purchase.  Now you know!  I am due August 22nd which puts me at almost 21 weeks.  Hooray!!  My belly is laaarge and I am loving it.  I love this stage where you belly really starts popping out there.
