Fabric!

I just ordered this Heather Bailey fabric and can't stop thinking of all the possibilities and what all I could make out of it! So exciting! Oh man I love good fabric. My first priority are spring dresses for the girls. I hope they turn out as well as they look in my head. If you have any fun new projects tell me about them! I'm itching for some new ideas. Cute bags, wallets, dresses, shirts, anything, do share! And to my crafty ladies here, we should definitely do a craft night SOON. Don't be shy now, lets dust off those sewing machines and let the creative juices flow.
After looking at all of Heather Bailey's fabrics it makes me want to be a quilter. I've only made 1 and 1/2 quilts and am no expert, but I really want to learn the tricks and make some for the girls beds. My mom made beautiful quilts for us when we graduated and then when we got married and I love them! What a fun thing to pass down to our children. There's so much time, love and creativity that goes into a quilt, it's such a great way to give a little piece of yourself to someone you love. So thanks Mom for the beautiful quilts and for teaching me how to sew so I can pass it down to my girls too.
Here's to learning how to quilt!

I found this project that I thought would be super fun...if I had a girl. And you have two!

I also took a quilting class offered by the local quilt shop, and it was really fun and got me motivated to quilt. I'm sure there's something like that in your area, too!

That is some of my all-time favorite fabric! I was really bummed with her latest line...It wasn't as bright and fun!

And I'm with you on quilting. I caught the bug...I have 4 quilts in the works, but none of them are finished! You could say quilting intimidates me!
