Fall Festivities

This last week we had a sweet snow storm that made it feel like Christmas was knocking on our door! I almost forgot about Halloween! The first day of the storm Sadie and I made a nice little snow man....and then the next day Sadie and Ryan.....scratch that....Ryan, made an even bigger and better snow man. Here are the fruits of Ryan's labor. Awe, I almost can't wait! bring on the gingerbread houses and homemade pies, good smells, Christmas decor and Christmas music all day long!!

The Christmas spirit didn't last long, it was time to move onto the spookier side of Fall!

Don't be frightened kids, it's just Sadie.....the friendly ghost.

To start off our festivities we dressed up in Aluminum foil and headed off to Chipotle, who were giving away FREE burritos if you dressed up like one. That's right folks! No skimping here, they were full on huge, delicious burritos!! This will now become a new Donohue tradition.

After chowing down our burritos, we got all ready for some good old fashioned trick or treating. Piper went as a spider.

Reese as Curious George-ett {side note - Reese's dad was a big hit as the man in the yellow hat} and Sadie the ghost

Hold on tight to those babies girls!

Sadie had such a blast trick or treating and probably would have dragged that little pumpkin along all night if we let her.

Sorting out all the candy. Mom and Dad's candy - anything with peanut -and Sadie's stash.

Halloween did not disappoint this year!
