Piper Jane Donohue

Baby Piper arrived Thursday morning at 8:10am as planned. The c-section was a success and Miriam is recoverying quite nicely. Piper is 6 lbs 12 oz, 17 inches long, and is doing pretty well. We feel like we are having flashbacks from when Sadie was born. Piper is needing a little bit of a jump-start to get her little body going. She has been in the NICU this whole time because she is respirating very quickly and having difficulties holding enough oxygen, so they've been watching her closely. We're rooting for her and are hoping to see signs of improvement very soon. Here are a few pictures of our beautiful little girl. You'll have to look past all the tubes and wires to see the cute little Piper under them.
