home again, home again....
....jiggidy jig. We are back from all of our Chistmas fun. I've been putting off blogging all last week because I knew I had lots to catch up on. So here goes...
First we went to California to spend christmas with the Donohues. We had a fabulous time, the only downer was that we all caught the flu! It got to us all; we all had a few days of bumming around the house before we were back to our good old selves. Even through all the sickness, it was so fun to be with everyone. It's the first christmas we've had with all of us together. Steve and Julie are moving to Dallas when their house sells so that may very well be our last christmas in California! So sad. I don't think Jason and Aimee could put us all up in their house, bummer. Here's a look at some of the fun we had.
WARNING: for the faint of heart, turn back now, this is a very long post. You've been warned.
Ryan's dad took us for a ride in his plane. We were just a little nervous when we saw the size of the plane. It's volkswagon of a plane. I could hardly believe something so small (relatively) could get up in the air. It does and Steve was a great pilot! Brinley came with us for her birthday plane ride.

we take this very seriously. There was no laughter, it was strictly business. Ambrie and Clint drew up blue prints and called Frank Loyd Wright for some pointers on their house. The finished product would have fit well in a modern architecture museum. It was pretty nice!
okay, there was maybe a little laughter

we're on our way to Jason and Aimee's to open christmas presents! Sadie takes her provisions (as my dad calls them - provisions includes apple sauce, crackers, craisins and any other snack that fits in her little baggy) where ever she goes. She'll carry her bag of goodies around the house all day.....wait a minute....maybe that's why her tummy's so huge!!

It's a lot harder than it looks, so we hear.

this girl cracks me up!

on Ryan's birthday Jason decided to take him surfing.
Well that about sums up our California trip. After all this fun Ryan went back home and Sadie and I went off to Utah for some more fun. I forgot my camera so no pictures from there, but we had a great time. There were always lots of visitors at Mom and Dad's house to keep us all busy and having a good time. We went skiing and sledding, played games and just enjoyed one anothers company. We had such a great time in both places thanks to all our family for so many fun new memories!

It's about dang time you blogged! Can I borrow Sadie's goggles sometime? A must have for the season!
Can't beat Christmas in California right. How can you not love the beach in December. Looks like you made wonderful memories. Love the gingerbread homes.
Great post! I need to trade photos with you. Can you burn a CD for me? I'll try to get all mine together and send them. I have some great photos of Christmas, but none of the gingerbread houses or Christmas morning. AND, did you know I only played guitar hero ONE TIME and I can't believe you got the photo of it. I rock the big belly.
