It feels like forever since I've blogged.....okay it really has been forever since I've blogged! Our trip to Utah was so much fun. We had such a fun time with family and Sadie LOVED exploring a new house full of all kinds of stuff to pull up on and get into. (note: sadie is crawling all over the place and pulling up on everything as well). I'm kicking myself I didn't take more pictures while on our trip. That always seems to happen, but I do have some fun ones from our celebrations on the 4th. We celebrated by going to the Salt Lake Bee's game. Baseball games are always fun, there's always alot more socializing than actual game watching for me, but that makes it all the better. The game was very exciting, I coulnd't tell you what exactly made it so exciting, home run......something like that in the last inning maybe....like I said I wasn't paying so much attention to the actual goings on of the game.

Another fun day was we took mountain bikes up to Park City and did some downhill biking (Ryan, Mark, Dad, Steve, Clint, and me). The guys were too crazy for their own good and all of them had a number of big spills, but I was too cautious to have any big falls. Fortunately we all made it back to the car in one piece, there were so many times I thought there was no way we'd all make it down without having to either carry someones broken bike the whole way down or carry one of us down. I think my dad takes the cake though in number and severity of crashes. Way to go dad, you're the winner!! and his prize....a great big (and I mean HUGE) fat, puffy, bruised up leg. He had a bruise the size of a phone book on his upper thigh that just got bigger everyday. I'm glad they didn't have to amputate! I hope your legs feeling better dad. Since mom and dad are now retired we enjoyed a lot of
liesure activities one being, Ryan and Mark helped dad mix and pour a cement patio for the hot tub t0 sit on. (I don't think the boys thought this was too leisurely). Throughout the trip we had a running challenge to see who could either bike or run up this canyon trail right near their house. The trail is uphill for 3.7 miles and then you turn around and run down the trail. We went up this trail lots while we were there and it is
definately the hardest thing I've ever tried to run up. I never did try biking up it, but from what I hear, it is equally as hard. We were pretty much spent the whole rest of the evening after we'd tackled "the trail". I'm proud to say that I am now the proud owner of a nice shiny and slightly crinkled $10 bill as reward for running up the trail in less than 45 minutes. I'm still contemplating what to spend my earnings on.
When we weren't biking, looking at bike shops, running, going through old boxes and picture albums, you could almost always find us lounging in the family room eating Fat Boys (ice cream sandwhiches). Pretty much it was a fantastic trip. We got to see almost all of our family and enjoyed every day of it!
These next few pictures are from one of fun our days with the Donohues.
you're so pretty!

I also got to see Ami Frost who is looking very cute and pregnant! It was fun to catch up on old times.
